Experts in the textile industry will discuss the devastating environmental and social impacts resulting from the dyeing of cotton at a webinar on Sustainability in Cotton Dyeing

It will take place on October 30.
 
Discussions will cover: toxic chemicals used in the process, water pollution resulting from toxic discharge, excessive water and energy use, and the effects on local communities. 
 
The webinar will also address how progress is being made to clean up the industry and present tools and resources that can be used to achieve sustainability in cotton dyeing.
