WFCF Agreed with Micro Technologies to Perform Verification Audits

Where Food Comes From (WFCF), a resource for third party verification of food production practices, has signed a joint marketing agreement with Micro Technologies to perform verification audits for approximately 1,000 new customers.

As part of the deal, WFCF will conduct verification audits for cattle ranchers, feedyards and backgrounders that were previously audited by Micro.

This move is expected to lead to a new annual revenue stream of approximately $700,000 for WFCF.

WFCF chairman and CEO John Saunders said: "We are looking forward to working with Micro on initiatives to innovate and integrate new verification programs and advanced management systems that add value to the entire beef supply chain."

The company supports over 9,000 farmers, ranchers, processors, retailers and restaurants with a wide range of services through its IMI Global (IMI) and International Certification Services (ICS) verification divisions.
