Electronic enclosures manufacturer Polycase has announced the extension of its NEMA 4X rated ML Series with the addition of a new size option, the ML-46F.
Designed for outdoor applications, the new 6.13" x 4.63" x 2.44" enclosure is UL Listed to UL 508A, NEMA Type 1, 2, 4, 4X, 12 & 13 specifications.
According to the US-based company, the ML-46F enclosure comes with a silicone gasket seal and UL94V-0 flame rating, and is molded in light gray UV-stabilized polycarbonate.
The enclosure, which offers a light gray or clear cover option, is suitable for use in a range of environmental conditions, protecting internal electronic components from dust, dirt as well as water.
Additional features of the enclosure include molded on surface-mounting flanges, plastic mounting bosses, and brass inserts for cover on/off convenience.
Optional accessories for the ML Series include internal mounting panels, which facilitate in mounting hardware inside the enclosure, so the NEMA rating is not compromised on the unit.
The cable glands accessories help to maintain the waterproof seal where cables enter or exit the enclosure.
