US-based food company Lundberg Family Farms has selected new PRESS-LOK closure technology from Velcro Industries for its new package designs of organic and eco-farmed rice lines.
In order to convert its existing lay-down packaging to a flat-bottom stand up pouch containing PRESS-LOK closure, Lundberg has worked with PEEL Plastics Products in Canada.
Lundberg Family Farms CEO Grant Lundberg said its customers' need for a reliable closure to its packaging has prompted the company to partner with Velcro Industries.
"With the PRESS-LOK™ closure, our customers will appreciate the ease and convenience of a re-sealable package," Lundberg said.
The PRESS-LOK closure system comes with hook-to-hook technology and contains an alignment that allows the hooks to engage without precise line-up, securing closure with burst strength to maintain the integrity of the package.
