According to Brazil's steel distributors' association (Sindisider) and the National Institute for Distribution of Steel (Inda), the Brazilian distributors’ sales of steel flat products totaled 4.35 million tons, up by 1.5% from a year ago. In last December, the Brazilian distributors sold 312,500 tons of steel flat products, falling by 18.8% from a month ago and decreasing by 3.8% year on year. Meanwhile, the Brazilian distributors purchased 323,100 tons of steel flat products in last December, up by 1.7% year on year while decreasing by 15.3% month on month.
