US-based electric car manufacturer Fisker Automotive is planning to launch its electric car Karma in China, this November.
Fisker Karma is powered by a 2.0 litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine mated with a pair of electric motors to deliver an output of 403hp and over 1,300Nm of torque.
The electric vehicle, which is introduced in 2008 at the Detroit motor show, features both a plug-in feature and an internal combustion engine.
Followed by a six-hour charge, Fisker Karma's lithium-ion batteries will allow the vehicle to achieve up to 80km on electric power at speeds of up to 200 km/h.
In addition the company has appointed industry veteran Joe Chao as the new executive vice president and CEO of Fisker's China and Asia operations.
