Japan's JFE Steel said that its subsidiary JFE Steel Galvanizing (Thailand) has put a continuous galvanizing line into operation at its facility in Hemaraj, Rayong Province. It's learned that the 400,000 tons of hot dipped galvanized steel sheets with thickness of 0.4mm-2.3mm and width of 800mm-1,880mm will be produced at this galvanizing line, mainly supplied for the automotive industry. JFE Steel will support the automakers' expansion plans through meeting their demands for local procurement, supported by its new continuous galvanizing line in Thailand.
