The Slow Toy team has now revealed the entry opening date for this year's Awards.
They will officially be open for entries on Friday, May 3rd and participants will have just under six weeks to post their entries before the official close date on Wednesday, June 12th.
Participants will be able to email [email protected] from 9am on entry opening day to receive and return an entry form.
Following the June 12th closing date, shortlisted toys will be contacted and samples will be called in for the second round of judging to decide the final Slow Seven.
Each toy will be judged on its fulfilment of the specified criteria: must be available in independent stores, must inspire the mind, must not require batteries, must not be made solely from plastic, must stand the test of time, promise true play value and must be well made.
