Germany-based CGS Publishing Technologies will unveil the packaging tool RealVue 3D Packager for packaging design and visualization at Drupa in Düsseldorf during 3-16 May 2012.
Working with DXF, PDF, and Adobe Illustrator (AI) files, 3D Packager allows designers and brand managers to create accurate visual3D animated prototypes, along with embossing, substrate textures, cut-outs and metallic inks, whose results can be shared with marketing and brand managers.
Color-Logic and CGS will display how the Color-Logic's revolutionary Process Metallic Color System integrates with both RealVue 3D Packager and the ORIS colour prototyping environment.
The tools streamline the prototyping and design of folding cartons and produce special metallic effects, according to Color-Logic.
CGS' drupa stand will also feature Web on the Roland VS, ORIS Color Tuner and LEC printers offering flexible packaging proofs, mock-ups and short runs along with special effects used in packaging.
