York County in US has signed a contract with fleet management software provider AssetWorks to install its fleet management software application, FleetFocus and GPS offering powered by Networkfleet.
Under the contract, the county can use FleetFocus to capture labor in real time, schedule shop activities and employees, access fleet data for long term planning and run detailed reports.
According to the company, the county's customers can now access the FleetFocus data through a front-end portal that can be accessed by non-fleet personnel.
In addition, York County has installed Networkfleet telematics application on its vehicles.
With Networkfleet, fleet managers can gain web access to near real-time information on virtually any aspect of their fleet operations such as GPS fleet maps, dashboards, reports, and alerts.
FleetFocus and Networkfleet can share information between their systems, enabling the York County to use telematics data for planning and reporting purposes.
