(China Glass Network) The glass industry went ups and downs on the January. The price of float glass was 15.33 yuan per square meter at the beginning of the month, and ended on 14.27 yuan per square meter, dropping 0.39 percent.
Reason analysis, at the beginning of the month, glass demands was relatively strong due to the construction project near to complete which raised the glass price. When entered into winter, the northeast market depressed due to the cold winter. North China price kept dropping down and the demand was weak. Meanwhile, the south China started to destock. On the mid of January, the whole industry presented south strong and north weak situation. On the last ten-day periods, weaken situation of North China didn’t change and the South China market went well.
