Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA) has rewarded 12 top-selling Detroit distributors, including two in Canada, with tickets to a Nascar Nationwide Series race in Charlotte, N.C.
The winners were scored on their sales made between May 1 and Aug. 30. The prize includes an all-expenses paid trip for two to the Dollar General 300 at Chartlotte Motor Speedway on Oct. 11.
Canadian winners included the Wajax Power Systems locations in Moncton, N.B. and Redcliff, Alta.
"The Race to Charlotte Challenge was a great way to engage the Detroit distributor network with some friendly competition and showcase the quality and value of our Detroit Genuine Parts lines to new and existing customers," said Todd Biggs, director, aftermarket parts and service marketing for Daimler Trucks North America.
