White-top kraftliners producer Metsa Board will introduce a new liner, which will complement its Kemiart range, at FachPack 2013.
The new liner is said to be made from fresh forest fibers and is suitable for direct contact with food and other sensitive products.
According to the company, the liner will also be suitable for microflute applications, such as perfume, beautycare and healthcare packaging, as well as for items such as online and mail-order packaging.
Metsa Board Paperboard VP linerboard sales Risto Auero said the new product complements the company's Kemiart range of white top kraftliners by providing more options for its customers.
"It helps meet demand for lighter-weight packaging and opens up exciting opportunities for combining a lighter liner with fluting in innovative ways," Auero added.
The company will also exhibit its folding boxboard range which includes improvements to its grades Avanta Prima, Simcote and Carta Elega.
