The Stop & Shop Supermarket has removed M&M Brand Milk Chocolate Theater Box from its store shelves, following a recall by Mars Chocolate North America as it may contain peanut butter.
M&M's Brand Milk Chocolate Theater Box, 3.4 oz, carrying UPC 40000294764 is included in this recall.
The inside packaging is correctly labeled containing peanut butter. This product is safe to consume for individuals who do not suffer from a peanut allergy.
As of now, Stop & Shop has received no reports of illnesses.
Mars Chocolate North America noted that people who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts may run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.
