French carmaker Renault has unveiled its new Talisman sedan at the 2012 Beijing auto show being held in China.
The new sedan will be offered with V6 engine in 2.5 litre and 3.5 litre displacements.
The 2.5 litre engine will generate 187hp and 243 Nm while, the 3.5 litre version will deliver 258hp and 330 Nm torque and both will be mated to a CVT or six-speed tiptronic gearbox.
According to the carmaker, the new sedan for the Chinese market is based on the SM7 model produced by its South Korean facility, Renault Samsung.
The model will be produced in Korea and be exported to China beginning June this year at a base price of EUR 38, 652.
Renault has sold 24,100 units in 2011 in China marking a 60% rise when compared to the previous year.
