Japan based Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus (MFTBC) has launched the new 2012 Aero Ace MM tourist bus in the country.
According to the company, the new bus meets the latest safety directives effective from July 2012, which are based on Economic Commission for Europe Safety Regulation.
The new bus incorporates brake override system (BOS) as standard, which overrides vehicle acceleration during the situation when brake and accelerator pedals are pressed simultaneously and prevents involuntary operation.
2012 Aero Ace MM Tourist Bus is also equipped with side-view camera as standard and is available for sale at all the dealerships and regional sales centres in Japan.
In 2011, the company sold 147,700 vehicles including light-, medium- and heavy-duty trucks and buses and it plans to sell over 200,000 units per year under its 'FUSO 2015'.
