Madama Oliva, a producer of processed and packaged olives, has selected RPC Superfos’ LongLife container as a packaging solution for its full range of products.
Madama Oliva has packaged all 17 varieties of olives made from traditional Italian recipes in LongLife container.
With impacting colors and razor-sharp in-mould label printing, RPC has designed a different artwork on each container for 17 products.
The new shape of the containers is similar to Madama Oliva’s previous containers and prepared samples of the new packaging for showcasing at the Cibus trade fair.
Madama Oliva is marketing all of its varieties in all major supermarkets across the Italy.
Madama Oliva marketing manager Manuela Tilli said: “Food safety, an attractive look and long shelf life with In-Mould Labelling were among our core requirements for the new pack, so we got in touch with RPC Superfos to come up with a new solution.
“We already knew the high quality of some of the RPC Superfos packaging solutions through a local distributor.
“The new pack works well in our production and we are convinced that we have found the right solution together with RPC Superfos."
In December 2017, RPC Superfos provided its SuperLift plastic pail for German meat producer Metten Fleischwaren’s bulk-pack sausages.
RPC bucket’s in-mould labelling oxygen barrier protection feature will allow to extend the shelf-life of the product.
The company has provided 4.6 litre injection-moulded SuperLift polypropylene pail with 226mm diameter for German meat producer to be used for five types of sausages marketed in bulk consumer packs.
