Roger Collins, Who Was Semi-Retired But Still Active in The Timber Trade, Has Died

Roger Collins, who was semi-retired but still active in the timber trade, has died. Mr Collins's career in the timber trade began with Lathams, first in London and then in the north-east. On returning to London in the 1960s, Mr Collins joined Hahn & Co before taking on the role of sales director at Williamson & Kaye. When Williamson & Kaye was taken over by Reubens he joined Hardwood & Joinery Softwoods (HJS) and then, in 2004, joined Channel Timber. Mr Collins was well respected in the hardwood trade and well known throughout the UK and Ireland. Source: ttjonline
