Anheuser-Busch InBev Is Set to Be Launched by Anheuser-Busch

Anheuser-Busch InBev is set to launch Budweiser Black Crown, an amber lager with a higher alcohol content, on 3 February 2013 during 47th Super Bowl, which will take place in New Orleans, Los Angeles, US.

The brew, however, will be made available in stores across the country from 21 January and sold in 12oz glass bottles in six- and 12-packs, and in 22oz single bottles.

Budweiser Black Crown, which is developed by Bryan Sullivan, a brewmaster in Los Angeles, has 6% alcohol by volume (ABV).

The beer combines two-row caramel malt with four types of domestic hops, finished on a bed of Beechwood chips, according to the company.

Budweiser Black Crown senior brand manager Nate Scudieri was quoted by The Associated Press as saying that the beer remains true to the original Budweiser recipe but has its own unique take.

During the 2012 Super Bowl, the company had launched Bud Light Platinum and another specialty beer.
