eHealth Saskatchewan Has Awarded $16m Contract to SAIC

eHealth Saskatchewan has awarded $16m contract to Science Applications International (SAIC) to provide implementation and maintenance technology services in support of the province's electronic health record (EHR) system.

eHealth Saskatchewan is involved in coordinating, operating and maintaining other selected information technology systems in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada.

Under the three-year contract, SAIC Canada will provide implementation and maintenance services including technology and applications for the Saskatchewan EHR system and its associated components, as well as other health information systems and related databases.

SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager Steve Comber said, "We are pleased to continue our support of eHealth Saskatchewan to implement and maintain its electronic health record system, assisting the providers in enhancing the health of their patients throughout the province."
