Indian automobile manufacturer Tata Motors has introduced two sedans and a hatchback in Bangladesh.
The two introduced sedans include Tata Indigo eCS and the Tata Indigo Manza while the other is the Tata Indica Vista hatchback.
The vehicles will be available in Dhaka with one showroom and by 2013 the company will expand to three other cities with a showroom each.
NITOL Motors distributes Tata Motors vehicles in Bangladesh and the distributor's chairman Abdul Matlub Ahmad said, "Our association with Tata Motors goes back over two decades, and we are extremely happy that, in addition to commercial vehicles, Tata Motors has now placed their confidence in us to market their passenger cars and utility vehicles."
The automaker had introduced its buses in Bangladesh in 1972 and to date the company operates around 53,000 commercial vehicles in the country.
