Machinery manufacturer Dr Boy of Germany is showing an energy-efficient 35-tonne machine, equipped with a servo motor pump drive, at the Plastpol fair, which is taking place on 29 May to 1 June in Kielce, Poland. "The servo motor pump drive technology is the right answer in light of permanently increasing energy costs, " said Elisabeth Wlazlo of Wadim Plast, which represents Boy in the Polish market. The Boy 35 E achieves energy savings of up to 70% when compared to similar sized machines, the company said. It also has a compact design, having a footprint of only 1.9m².
