Friends Beverage Group has launched a new beverage category the 'Friends Fun Wine In A Can Collection in 8.40z cans in New York.
The 'Fun Wines' are low alcohol (6% ABV) Sangria and Moscato wines prepared from premium French grapes.
Each can has two 4.2oz servings, with 75 calories each.
It will be distributed in the New York Metro Area starting from September by Phoenix/Beehive of Brooklyn, NY.
Friends chairman Joe Bernstein said Friends, which comes in a range of flavors, is an everyday beverage for anyone who enjoys wine or beer.
"Our slim cans are attractive and 100% recyclable. Friends? is bringing a fusion of European style and thinking to the U.S., encouraging consumers to think outside the bottle and pair wine in a can with amazing experiences - not just food."
