KTM X-Bow GT:a Windscreen Is Got by Street-Legal Go-Kart

KTM X-Bow GT: Street-Legal Go-Kart Gets a Windscreen

The KTM X-Bow GT is headed to next week’s Geneva motor show offering fans the most practical version of the hardcore street-legal go-kart to date.

The ‘Grand Tourer’ badge may be a bit of a stretch, but the addition of a windscreen and side windows promises to make the X-Bow GT more liveable and better suited to long drives and inclement weather than any KTM before it.

While the X-Bow GT’s windscreen eliminates the ‘bug-in-face’ factor of the standard X-Bow, it’s not yet confirmed if a long-rumoured removable roof panel will be included on the new variant’s optional equipment list.

The KTM X-Bow GT is set to feature an Audi-sourced 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine producing 213kW of power and 420Nm of torque.

KTM is yet to announce performance data, but based on the potential of the slightly more powerful X-Bow R, the GT is likely to sprint from 0-100km/h in about four seconds and race on to a top speed of roughly 225km/h.

Full pricing and specifications of the KTM X-Bow GT will be revealed in Geneva on March 5.
