Turkey's Stainless Steel Coil Imports Totaled 39,440 Tons in November,Jumping by 32% Y-O-Y

According to data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), the country's imports of stainless steel coils totaled 39,440 tons in November, down slightly by 0.5% from a month ago but jumping by 32% year on year. The country's import values generated by stainless steel coils totaled US$88 million in November. In November, Taiwan was the largest exporter of stainless steel coils to Turkey with 8,632 tons; Italy was the second largest one with 7,180 tons; China was the third largest one with 5,540 tons and Korea was the fourth one with 4,634 tons. In the January-November period, Turkey's imports of stainless steel coils amounted to 429,868 tons, soaring by 31% year on year. The country's import revenues generated by stainless steel coils totaled US$1.01 billion.
