In November last year, Turkey's stainless flat steel imports decreased by 0.48 percent compared to the previous month to 39,445 metric tons, following the 4.95 percent month-on-month decrease recorded in October, according to the data provided by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK). The country's stainless flat steel imports were up 31.74 percent on year-on-year basis in November. The value of these imports was $88 million, decreasing by 1.35 percent as compared to October and up 17.22 percent year on year.
In the first 11 months of 2013, Turkey's stainless flat steel imports amounted to 429,888 million metric tons, increasing by 30.59 percent, with a value of $1.01 billion, up 19.04 percent, both year on year.
