US-based ITW Dynatec has designed the new Dynamelt S adhesive supply unit for use in the packaging industry. The product is enhanced with design and performance features that make it easier to maintain and service, flexible to install and safe to operate.
Dynamelt S features the company's Melt-on-Demand System and is ideal for food, beverage and many other packaging applications. It comes in a compact and flexible footprint for easy integration into OEM equipment and existing lines.
The system has been enhanced with a precision heat control zone in the manifold block and the independently heated manifold optimizes energy efficiency facilitating warm-up times.
The product consumes 20% less energy on average than similar competitive units. It has an advanced piston pump design that permits low-air pressure operation, resulting in overall air consumption reduction.
According to the company, Dynamelt's corner-mounted hose manifold is covered in a heat insulating jacket, to ensure user safety and reduced energy consumption.
The primary filter of the product has 15 times more surface area to provide easier and safer filter changes, enabling reduction in downtime.
