Indonesia's Steel Import Fell 6.39% Compared to The Same Period of The Previous Month

According to the data announced by Statistics Indonesia (BPS), in November last year the value of Indonesia's steel imports decreased by 13.64 percent compared to the previous month, amounting to $603.5 million, while the country's import value for articles of iron and steel fell 14.65 percent month on month to $330.9 million.

In the first 11 months last year, Indonesia's steel import value came to $8.86 billion, falling 6.39 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, while the country's import value for articles of iron and steel amounted to $4.38 billion, down 1.28 percent year on year.
