Investment group CorpAcq has forayed into the packaging industry with the acquisition of UK-based Northern Packaging for an undisclosed amount.
Based in Altrincham, Northern Packaging operates from two sites in Skelmersdale, West Lancashire and employs 80 people.
Northern Packaging manufactures eco-friendly corrugated packaging for customers in the food, drink, retail and healthcare sectors and has an annual turnover of around £12m.
All products manufactured by the company are said to be made from 100% recyclable, biodegradable fibre, while its clients include multi-national companies and small, family-run businesses.
