Adept Technology has partnered with six primary packaging system integrators to provide advanced technical capabilities and knowledge base in the packaging line.
The food partners include JMP Engineering of Canada and US, Adaptpack of Australia, Scansource of Denmark and Chile, Mar of Brazil, Euro-Cri of France, and Han Shin of Korea.
According to the company, the partners have been selected for their advanced technical capabilities and knowledge base, and will use its robots, software and grippers to enhance speed and efficiency on the packaging line.
Adept Technology global marketing senior vice president Glenn Hewson said the company intends to offer food-focused hardware and software solutions for packaging partners.
"Integrators who understand the intricacies of upstream and downstream packaging are key to delivering the perfect solution for food processors," Hewson added.
The company will showcase its SoftPIC grippers at Pack Expo in Las Vegas, which will held between 23 to 26 September.
