US-based Perimeter Brand Packaging has launched three new wipes packaging solutions, which have been designed to prevent wipes dry-out.
The company developed the new packaging solutions beginning with a series of consumer insights studies focusing on both personal care and hard surface cleaning wipes.
Perimeter Brand Packaging president Steve Callahan said, "After surveying the current wipes solutions in-market and finding a lack of differentiation in wipes packaging, we came up with these three unique solutions."
The new Pebble, Standup and Webster packaging solutions are claimed to leverage existing moisture-retaining technology from Perimeter.
Pebble has been designed for female consumers who are negatively associated the existing packaging of beauty wipes with baby wipes.
The sleek, on-the-go Pebble case has a packaging profile reminiscent of the classic cosmetic compact shape. The polypropylene packaging is easily refillable and has an airtight seal that retains the wetness of the wipes.
Perimeter's new Standup is a wipes dispenser that independently stands up and does away with the need for secondary packaging.
The off-center dispenser, which is a flexible pouch with a polypropylene fitment on one end, offers an easier way for the consumer to pull out the wipes.
Dual-dispensing, clutch-style wet wipes packaging solution Webster can be used to double the wipes capacity of an existing packaging offering.
Made from flexible material with a polypropylene fitment, the product can also be used to provide consumers with two different types of wipes - like a facial skin care wipe and an eye makeup remover wipe.
Perimeter created Pebble under the On the Go product platform, and will release Standup and Webster under its newest Fusion platform, which combines flexible and rigid packaging together.
