Taiwan-based crystalline silicon solar cell maker Neo Solar Power and solar-grade crystalline silicon wafer makers Green Energy Technology (GET), Sino-American Silicon Products (SAS) and Gigastorage saw November consolidated revenues increase on month and on year, according to the companies.
Neo Solar said its November consolidated revenues of NT$2.333 billion (US$78.8 million) marked a 32-month high with growth of 1.42% on month and 191.54% on year due to growing demand in Japan, China and the US. January-November consolidated revenues were NT$17.686 billion, up 51.94% on year.
GET had consolidated revenues of NT$1.279 billion for November growing 2.8% on month and 62.88% on year, and NT$11.692 billion for January-November rising 27.79% on year.
SAS' consolidated revenues of NT$1.93 billion for November increased 2.12% on month and 11.05% on year. January-November consolidated revenues were NT$20.167 billion, up 16.76%.
Gigastorage posted consolidated revenues of NT$860 million for November, up 6.97% on month and 109.46% on year, and NT$7.614 billion for January-November, up 32.69% on year.
In response to increasing demand, GET, SAS and Gigastorage plan to hike prices for solar-grade wafers by 3-5% in the fourth quarter.
