Canada-based insurance provider, Intact Financial Corporation has implemented Guidewire ClaimCenter as its new solution to manage all of its commercial and personal lines' claims.
Intact Financial Corporation Claims senior vice president Mathieu Lamy said Guidewire ClaimCenter will enable the company to reinforce its customer-driven focus and offer an outstanding claims experience to the customers.
''Furthermore, Guidewire's solution will provide us the ability to better manage the complexity and the scale associated with an expanding claims organization that helps more than half a million customers get back on track, annually,'' Lamy added.
The solution is expected to help Intact consolidate and standardize its claims handling systems and processes, increase productivity and lower claims cycle times, and also reduce system maintenance costs.
According to Guidewire, Intact had known about ClaimCenter through its recent acquisition of AXA Canada, which had been using the software for the past five years.
ClaimCenter's flexible business rules enable claims organisations to define, enforce, and continually refine their preferred claim handling practices in order to optimise and monitor their claim processes.
The solution can be integrated as a standalone system or as part of Guidewire Insurance Suite to an insurer's legacy systems or third party applications.
