Australian beverage company Soda Press Co has launched a range of soda flavour syrups in Australia, which it says are “made from natural and organic ingredients”.
Soda Press Co, which is based in Sydney, said its syrups have a small amount of “organic can and brown rice syrup using a slow flavour extraction process” for sweetness.
Developed in Australia, The Soda Press Co range includes four flavours:
Old Fashioned Pink Lemonade - An old classic with a pink twist. Ginger Ale - An invigorating twist on the classic ginger ale. A subtle ginger zing couples with clean, crisp citric notes. Blueberry & Lime - Encapsulating rich berry and lime, this flavour sings of summer. Freeze some to make party popsicles on a hot summers day. Liquorice & Lemongrass - The sweet warmth of liquorice root pairs with the exotic and refreshing aromas of lemongrass to create a memorable flavour experience.
‘Healthier’ soft drinks are gaining popularity globally. Australian Food News reported in September 2014 that global market research organisation Mintel had found that 40 per cent of Canadian consumers would be interested in soft drinks that were ‘healthier’. In September 2014, Australian Food News also reported that market research organisation Canadean had found US consumers had embraced packaged carbonated water, moving away from more traditional soft drinks.
The Soda Press Co range is available for cafes and food retailers as either separate or gift boxed bottles or 5 Litre pump packs that make up to 125 serves.
