Gelatissimo launches ‘low sugar’ range and Eat In Desserts range
Gelato brand Gelatissimo has announced that a core range of its flavours will be available in ‘low-sugar’ options this summer.
The three handcrafted flavours include Chocolate (“96 per cent sugar free”), Strawberry (“98 per cent Sugar Free”) and Vanilla (“95 per cent Sugar Free”) and will be rolled out nationally over the coming weeks. Gelatissimo said the range has “a maximum of just 135 calories per serve”.
The Company has also launched a range of Eat In Desserts. The collection includes modern takes on old classics, such as a Sinful Scattered Sundae and Milk & Cookies, to quirkier selections, like Sushi Gelato and the playful Noughts & Crosses creation.
The desserts are currently available at Gelatissimo in Watson’s Bay, with an aim to roll out the Eat In selection nationwide in the future.
Gelatissimo said the launch signifies the brand’s shift towards “more café style stores with ambient seating and a fresh, modern décor”.
Gelatissimo is a strong global franchise brand with 34 stores in Australia and 16 internationally. Founded in 2002, Gelatissimo is 100 per cent Australian owned and operated. The Company has grown into one of the largest gelato franchises in the world, establishing the brand in Australia, Singapore, Philippines, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
