Food packaging company Pactiv is all set to expand manufacturing facilities in Lenoir and Iredell counties with an investment of more than $9m in Kinston and Mooresville in North Carolina, US.
Pactiv president and CEO John McGrath said, "We are committed to meeting our customers' needs and growing the business in communities where there is a good business climate and a skilled and available workforce."
To support the project, the One North Carolina Fund provided performance-based grant of up to $103,000.
Other partners including the NC Department of Commerce, NC Community Colleges, Mooresville-South Iredell Economic Development Corporation, Lenoir County Economic Development Corporation, Iredell County, Lenoir County, Town of Mooresville and the City of Kinston also helped with the project.
Pactiv's existing product lines include custom and stock foam, plastic, aluminum, pressed-paperboard, PE coated board and molded-fiber packaging.
