Teleflex Incorporated, a provider of cardiovascular solutions, has introduced new Arrow FlexTip Plus closed epidural catheter.
The new Arrow FlexTip Plus closed device is a multi-port epidural catheter designed for anesthesia providers to offer with more options, allowing them to decide the drug dispersion method for the epidural procedures they perform.
The FlexTip Plus Multi-Port, which features a soft, flexible closed tip with four lateral holes, utilizes the coil-reinforced, polyurethane technology, which has been proven to reduce complications commonly associated with nylon epidural catheters.
Various clinical studies have also demonstrated the capability of the catheter's design which helps for easier insertion, less movement out of the epidural space, better block quality, and higher satisfaction rates.
Teleflex anesthesia and respiratory president Cary Vance said the company has delivered customers' choice of closed tip catheter option from Arrow.
"We are pleased to be able to provide the well-proven benefits of the Arrow FlexTip Plus catheter in a closed tip, multi-port design to meet the needs and demands of our Regional Anesthesia partners," Vance added.
