US Xpress will spec'Truck-Lite's LED headlights on 1,950 new Freightliner Cascadia trucks in 2014,Truck-Lite announced.
Freightliner made the LED headlights standard on its Cascadia and Cascadia Evolution models earlier this year,becoming the first OEM to do so.
"We continually work throughout our organization to educate and prepare our employees on the safe operation of all aspects of our fleet,"said Max Fuller,US Express CEO."We continue to research and deploy new technologies,enhance existing processes,and identify opportunities for improvement.Standardizing with the Truck-Lite LED headlights is confirmation of our commitment to these standards."
