The Combined German Pellet Output Reached a New Record Level

The combined German pellet output reached a new record level in the first half of this year and was roughly 17% higher than in the reference period for last year at 1.04m t. The decisive factor for this was the above-average increase of 22% in pellet output in the second quarter of 2012 to 557, 164 t. At 486, 451 t, pellet production in the first quarter had already been roughly 13% higher than a year earlier. This ranks Germany third in pellet production behind the USA and Canada.
