Enviva Are Currently Constructing Further Extensive Warehousing and Transhipment Terminals

International WoodFuels as well as Enviva are currently constructing further extensive warehousing and transhipment terminals for wood pellets on the east coast of the USA. WoodFuels is investing US$25m in the construction of a warehousing and transhipment ter-minal for wood pellets at the port of Morehead City. A corresponding agreement with the responsible state ports authority for the use of the land as well as the construction of warehousing and transhipment facilities was concluded at the end of September for a period of 20 years. Earlier in the year Enviva had already received approval from the state ports authority for the construction and operation of a warehousing and transhipment terminal in the port of Wilmington, North Carolina. The plans are very similar to the terminal planned by WoodFuels in Morehead City.
