Packaging solutions provider Glenroy has agreed to acquire the pouch converting operations of PF Flexibles, formerly known as Pouch Converting Technologies.
Based in Hartford, Wisconsin, PF Flexibles is a contract manufacturer of pre-formed pouches in the flexible packaging industry.
The company's packaging material is used for liquids, military applications, chemicals, food products and medical devices.
Glenroy will have access to a range of PF Flexibles' pouch converting equipment.
The acquisition will enable Glenroy to offer several in-house premade pouch converting capabilities in the industry.
Glenroy president and chief executive officer Richard Buss said: "With stand-up pouch usage continually increasing, the acquisition of PF Flexibles, combined with Glenroy's 50 years of experience in flexible packaging, allows us to provide top-quality custom-engineered pouches.
"This supports our mission of providing the highest level of service to our customers."
Wisconsin-based Glenroy manufactures flexible packaging film and stand-up pouches for several industries, including personal care, pharmaceutical, nutritional, cosmetic, automotive and household products.
The company has over 150 employees and 226,000ft2 of facilities in southeast Wisconsin.
