The Award Is Valued at 25,000 Euros and Aimed at Renowned Researchers

The Otto Schott Research Award that was bestowed for the first time in 1991 honors outstanding scientific achievements in the field of international glass research every two years. The award is valued at 25,000 euros and aimed at renowned researchers.

Candidates who can provide references of their outstanding scientific achievements in fundamental research and/or technology development in the areas of glass and related advanced materials, components and systems in the fields of optics and electronics, solar power, health and living are once again welcome to apply for the Otto Schott Research Award 2014.

The deadline for submitting applications to the Donors´ Association for the Promotion of Humanities and Sciences in Germany, Barkhovenallee 1, 45239 Essen (Heidhausen), Germany, either by traditional mail or e-mail is on July 31, 2013.
