Domino Printing Sciences is set to introduce a new K600i B2 cut sheet-fed ink jet digital printing solution at drupa 2016 in Düsseldorf of Germany, which is being held from 31 May to 10 June.
The K600i is a modular and scalable system, which is available with seven print width formats.
With 782mm print width, the K600i monochrome printer includes two speed capabilities and UV curable or aqueous ink.
Domino product manager Bryan Palphreyman said: "We are pleased to be partnering with Gremser, who provide a range of high performance sheet-fed handling solutions, to launch this new and unique solution to the market at drupa.
"With over 200 K600i installations worldwide, this newly launched wider B2 version enables our customers to more cost effectively produce variable data solutions within the relatively new market for ink jet that is B2."
The Gremser SPL70 can run B2 sheets from 60gsm to 250gsm in weight, making it suitable for applications such as security fiscal tax stamps, ticketing, gaming cards, high impact mailing, pharma and light-carton packaging.
Domino solution can print at any position across the entire width of the B2 sheet without mechanical adjustment compared against other applications where variable print data has to be limited to zonal areas on the sheet.
