HK SAR government appointed task force to solve nuisance caused by outdoor light on July 25. It's for a term of one year from 1st. August. 211 to 31st. July. 2012.
HK SAR government had released a number of measures this March to response republic's attention of outdoor light, hoping to promote energy conservation and reduce outdoor light nuisance.
The task force will be responsible to enhance the publicity and public education of outdoor light. And concerning the internationally-recognized guidelines, they will make suggestions to relevant measures for solving the problem of outdoor light nuisance and energy waste.
The Environment Bureau will provide secretary service for the task force. As well as Environmental Protection Agency, Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, Housing Authority, Planning Department and other government departments will provide relevant service for them.
