The initial installation numbers for the week ending 14th April 2013 show 2,013 sub 50 kW PV installations in that week compared to 1,673 for the week ending 7th April 2013.
This now brings the total number of sub 50 kW solar PVs registered on the MCS database to just over 420,000.
Total capacity installed during the week ending 14th April 2013 was 8.3 MW (the highest weekly figure for 2013) compared to 6.7MW for the week ending 7th April . Again the figure for week ending 7th April might have been affected by the Easter holidays. The overall increase in installed capacity is 0.6%, with the level at the end of week ending 14th April 2013 standing at 1.48 GW.
