CGS, a leading global provider of technology solutions, announced that Opening Ceremony has chosen the BlueCherry Enterprise Suite to help manage their overall growth as they continue to promote the Opening Ceremony label at leading department and specialty stores. Opening Ceremony is a multifaceted retail environment comprised of shops, websites, a showroom, and a private label collection that is wholesaled to over 200 retailers around the world.
The BlueCherry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and BlueCherry EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) software will help provide Opening Ceremony executives with full visibility to the health of their supply and demand chain and enhance communications with Opening Ceremony’s third party logistics provider by automating previously manual processes that will streamline the entire distribution process.
“Because of the considerable wholesale sales growth we are experiencing, our goal was to find a solution that could support that development while allowing us to keep up with the high demand,” said Carol Lim, Co-owner and Founder of Opening Ceremony. “CGS’s expertise and proven success within the industry provided a sense of comfort and reliability, and we knew right away they were a company we wanted to partner with. That expertise combined with BlueCherry’s intuitiveness and scalability made our decision fairly simple.”
The two companies look forward to building a very strong partnership that will help promote both their brands.
“We are looking forward to support Opening Ceremony during this exciting time in their development as they continue to branch out and grow within the marketplace,” said Paul Magel, President of the Application Solutions Group at CGS. “BlueCherry will enable them to leverage a single, integrated solution backed by CGS’s deep experience and industry knowledge that will help increase profitability and support their steady growth.”
