With people increasingly concerned about healthcare nowadays to trigger considerable demand for health-enhancing?food, Metal Industries Research & Development Centre (MIRDC), a Taiwanese government-funded R&D institute, has transferred its dripping-pill- forming technology to Ivorist International Co., Ltd., a local supplier of?analyzers and testing equipment.
MIRDC reports that the technology is Taiwan's first dedicated to?developing dripping pill machines, enabling?Ivorist to?successfully apply it?in production. With the technology, Ivorist's machine model, already on sale since June, features smaller size, highly integrated operation, greater stability and longer lifespan than competing models from China.
MIRDC stresses that its technology has lots of advantages. For instance, dripping pills made with it can contain?Chinese herbs, plant-derived ingredients and natural substances for healthcare, such as salvia, antrodia camphorate, red yeast rice and caterpillar fungus. Besides, sublingual dripping pills have better? effectiveness than ordinary medications, for they are?absorbed into blood more rapidly through veins under?tongue to maximize effects and minimize side-effects to stomach and liver.
By transferring its technology to Ivorist, MIRDC expects the partner to supply homegrown dripping pill machines in the domestic market to help reduce Taiwanese buyers' dependence on Chinese sources. Patents for Ivorist's machine model are still pending.
Founded in 1978, Ivorist has been dedicated to distributing?inspection instruments and industrial equipment in Taiwan for brands from developed countries as the U.S., Japan and West European nations for over 30 years, and will likely become a leader?in the segment for such technology?in the short term.
