Knight Warner Wins £1.1m Export Order From Australian Kit Maker

The robotic equipment will be supplied with four FA250 fully automatic debagging and bottle feeding machines which will deliver lightweight HDPE milk bottles to the diaries' milk filling lines.

The FA250 machine utilises patented 'Stripping and Cutting' mechanisms which are capable of feeding bottles into production lines at a rate of up to 250 bottles per minute.

Knight Warner commercial director Dave Knight said that the company had spent the last six months developing new markets for its well established, UK designed and manufactured equipment and he was delighted that Icon had placed faith in Knight Warner's patented technology used in all of its equipment. ?This technology has been developed over the last 10 years under the guidance of its technical director Colin Powell.

Managing director Kevin Parkin said that there are now considerable opportunities for UK manufacturers to become exporters and also become serious competitors in international markets.

He added that Knight Warner intend to continue to develop its export potential and to utilise the 'Made in Sheffield' brand as a mark of quality UK manufacturing.
