Gravit-E Technologies Has Finished Building and Launching a Contest Design Website

Gravit-e Technologies has finished building and launching a contest design website for the City of Vancouver

Gravit-e Technologies Inc. has completed work for the City of Vancouver's re:THINK HOUSING contest. The city contracted Gravit-e to create a website allowing the public to upload, view and vote on submissions for the contest. The company had the site ready for launch in just 10 days, marking one of the fastest project completion times in Gravit-e's history.

Re:THINK is the result of the mayor's task force on housing affordability, which aims to support those persons trying to find affordable housing. The re:THINK website provides an opportunity for individuals to submit their ideas on how to achieve the housing goals set by the task force.

"We're thrilled to once again be working with the City of Vancouver on a project which has potential to help shape the future of the region. With re:THINK we're building on the platform that was put in place for last year's re:CONNECT competition, and we're confident it will be just as successful the second time around," said Nick Oostveen, president of Gravit-e Technologies.

The company was initially contracted by the City of Vancouver in September, 2011, to create a contest design website for the re:CONNECT competition, which provided designers an opportunity to submit their ideas for the future of the Vancouver viaducts and the city's eastern core. The work completed for re:THINK marks the second contract that the City of Vancouver has awarded the company to date.
