Globe Food Equipment has introduced Digital Compact Five-Pound Portion Control Scale with Ingredient Bowl, a new addition to its weighing systems range.
Economically designed for applications requiring correctly weighed ingredients, the GPS5 delivers precise, consistent weighing of wet or dry ingredients, the company said.
With capacities of 5 pounds, 80 ounces, or 2300 grams, the GPS5 easily changes from pounds to ounces, ounces to grams, at the touch of a button.
Globe Food noted that the new system is ideal for single batch test weighing and portion control at bakeries, chocolate and pastry shops, commercial kitchens, health food centers, and food-testing laboratories.
The new system features push button zero tare, LCD digital display, overload indicator and automatic shut off.
With the introduction of the GPS5, Globe now offers two portion control scale sizes (5 and 10 pound), as well as two price computing scales, and a label printing scale.
